Hello Again!

Well as the tradition continues for us we got our tree up. The weekend of Thanksgiving we always put our tree up.

This year was really exciting now that we are newlyweds it's a tradition that we can now call the Burt Christmas Tree Tradition.

For one of our gifts from our wedding we received a beautiful handmade tree skirt that my mom's good friend Linda made. Who I call Auntie Linda.

It is such a gorgeous skirt. It looks amazing under the tree and it is something I will always treasure.

We have also started our remodel upstairs. Yesterday I was lucky enough to listen to Eric tear everything apart while jumping through the existing walls. I can't wait to get more of it done so I can take pictures to show you all the progress.

Life After Marriage

Well people said that once you get married you watch you life fly bye. Well I think Eric and I have been on one of the fastest jets out there!

As you can see from our picture we have aged fast! Ok not really but we had you going. So Eric and I went out for Halloween this year. It's our first year that we have been able to dress up and go out. We had a blast. We first hit up our friend Andy's party and then headed out to watch some of our friends bowl. We had so much fun! We even took 2nd in a costume contest.


We have already started thinking of costumes for next year.

Now that we have declared the month of October over we have now started the plans of gutting, (yes I said gutting) our upstairs and making a master suite. I will be sure to post before, during, and after pictures for all of you to enjoy in our fun time of remodeling.

Wedding Final Thoughts...

Hello Again,

Well almost a month under our belts and life is coming back to the status of normal. I am finally getting used to being Monica Kaye Wepner Burt (still not legal until Friday).

My photographer post some pictures from our wedding on her blog and they look amazing! Kelly did such a great job with all of us. I have officially made myself her own walking billboard.

Vegas Baby!!

Hey All,

So I have got around to the Vegas pictures.

We had a complete blast! We stayed at the Flamingo which is right in the middle of the strip. We really played the newly wed card a lot! But that was about as far as our gambling went. :-) There is so much to see.

Eric was bummed about our pool, because the water slides were all closed for the "season?". Even though it was 80 degrees. We laughed pretty hard.

We definitely plan on going again to see Hoover Damn and the Grand Canyon. This trip was more about seeing the sites within the city.

If you plan on going here are some good tips: make sure you wear good walking shoes, defiantly check out The Bellagio water show, and don't take anything that is free (there is always a catch).

Mr. & Mrs. Burt It's Official!!!

Hello All,

Can you believe it? Eric and I are now officially Mr. and Mrs.. Eric and I can't believe it's over. We had so much fun and we thank all of you for sharing in our special day. It really meant a lot to us to see so much support.

I hope that all of you who were able to join had a blast. I know we did! It is true though that it goes by quick. We couldn't believe that it was over when we left the hall.

I have posted some pictures that I have received from family and friends. If anyone out there has pictures that you would like to share we would love to see them. Feel free to email them to mwepner@new.rr.com or send any to our house. We would really love to see them.

Getting Close

Hey All,

So it's been a while since we have wrote anything. (I haven't mastered this yet)

Our New Blog Begins

Hello All,

So it's official we are now bloggers. Thanks for checking us out. I thought that now would be a good time to start the blog because we are only 44 days to the wedding. Can you believe it! It's all gone by so fast it seems like yesterday that Eric and I met.

For those of you who don't know the story of us, let me catch you up to speed...

We met through a mutual friend Dennis at Route 15 Bar and Grill. We both were there for a birthday party. My friend Nicole and I always randomly saw Dennis out at the bars and always had a good time catching up. Well needless to say after a couple of kick backs Dennis and I were talking when this guy came up and butted into our conversation. (Little did I know that the guy was my future husband.) After telling him to buzz off in not such a nice manor we all ended up leaving the bar and traveling on. We all kind of went together to another establishment were I started to really talk to Eric and realize that he was someone worth getting to know. We hung out the rest of the night and ended up talking until 5 am the next morning. It was amazing!

And now about 28 ish months later we are together getting ready to become husband and wife.

It's been a wild ride and we can't wait to see what is next.
